This article presents the regularities of reduction sulfur, nitrate and nitrite ions by sulfur reducing bacteria Desulfuromonas sp., which were isolated from water man-made Yavorivske Lake (Lviv Region, Ukraine), under influence potassium dichromate. in process anaerobic respiration can use reduce different electron acceptors, such as nitrates, nitrites, oxidized forms heavy metals, particular, hexavalent chromium.
